Celebrity Tattoos and Body Art- Tattooed Celebrities

A growing number of people have been getting tattooed these days. It is not a new occurance, tattoos have been around for quit sometime. Among the growing population of tattooed people are celebrities, Supermodels, Athletes, and Rockstars.

Dragons, butterflies, symbols, words, anything you would like can be inked into your skin. Chances are even a celebrity might have the tatoo. So which celebrities are a walking piece of art? Here are the stories of celebrities and their tattoos.

Former drummer of Blink 182, now the drummer of +44; Travis Barker is all tattooed up. His first tattoo was the words “BONES” on his left calf, which was a nickname given to him as a kid. According to Barker “I have a sacred heart from when I was 19, because I was brought up Catholic. I also have a microphone, dice, and Jesus. I figured if I tattooed Jesus on me, good things would happen, or maybe he’d have my back or something. … My right arm is like my good luck arm. It has everything — a deck of cards, drumsticks, a martini glass, a dollar sign, my lucky number seven, my initials, and a rabbit’s foot. I have a devil that was off of Black Label skateboards. I was into skateboarding when I was 22, so I got it. It healed really badly, but I refused to get it touched up. I don’t want to touch up any of my stuff. It just looks rad.”

One of the original tattoo bad boys is Tommy Lee. Tommy’s tattoos have always been a work in progress. His body art collection includes stars, evil clown face, leopards, tribal art, and a lip imprint on his neck from former girlfriend Mayte Garcia.

According to vanishing tattoos, Jessica Alba has flower and ladybug on back of her neck, Sanskrit character for lotus flower on her wrist, a bow tattoo on the small of her back.

Christina Aguilera has “Xtina” on back of neck, a design on inside left forearm, Hebrew words on small of back, “I am to my beloved what my beloved is to me”, and an unknown tattoo just below bikini line.

Drew Barrymore has a cross on her ankle, a butterfly under belly button, blue moon with smile & star at tip on right foot, flowers on inside left hip bone, and angels on back.

Former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham has 5 stars on her lower back -one for each family member, husband’s initials DB on the underside of left wrist, Hebrew script on her upper back that reads “I am my beloved’s, my beloved is mine”, and many more.

Brad Pitt has a tattoo of a piece of Arabic script on his lower left side and that is about it.

Justin Timberlake has his initials tattooed on ankles, larger picture of an angel with the words “GUARDIAN” above tattooed on back.

David Beckham - Soccer star has the words BROOKLYN (son’s name) across lower back, ROMEO (son) above crucifixion scene on upper back & CRUZ (son) underneath, his wife Victoria’s name in Hindi (miss-spelled with an “h” as in Vihctoria), Roman numeral VII (7 was his Man United jersey number) underside right arm, and many others.
