Number 10 Manliest Man

Christian Bale

Christian Bale 2007 Manliest moment according to askmen.com : In preparation for the filming of Rescue Dawn, Christian lost a significant amount of weight to accurately portray the real-life exploits of fighter pilot Dieter Dengler. Christian has an impressive resume which included two films this year Rescue Dawn and 3:10 to Yuma, which made $14 million in its opening weekend.

Number 9 Manliest Man

Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton known in the Formula 1 racing scene had the most wins for a rookie Formula 1 racer ever. Hamilton is also the first and only black man ever to win a Formula 1 race. Manliest Moment of 2007 according to askmen.com: During the European Grand Prix, Hamilton actually had his car recovered by a crane and placed back onto the track after a gruesome crash — yet he still finished ninth overall.

Number 8 Manliest Man

George Clooney

George Clooney was number 1 on this list last year, at least he still made the top 10. This past year Clooney has managed to star in and produce Ocean’s Thirteen and Michael Clayton, launch a charity; Not On Our Watch, and much much more. Best quote by George Clooney: “Run for office? No. I’ve slept with too many women, I’ve done too many drugs and I’ve been to too many parties.”

Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs, Apple Inc’s CEO and cofounder has managed to build Apple’s reputation even more this past year. Apple TV was launched in January; a video-streaming device and the iPhone was launched in June. Not only did he successfully launch these Apple products he was also named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People In The World list, and was inducted into California’s Hall of Fame. As he says his success is due to loving what he does.

Daniel Craig

Daniel Craig is known best for his 2007 role in Casino Royale. He has also portrayed characters in The Invasion opposite Nicole Kidman, and The Golden Compass. 2007 manliest moment according to askmen.com: Craig carried himself with all the swagger of Bond as an award copresenter at the 79th Annual Academy Awards.

Number 5 Manliest Man

Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake gained a lot of publicity for his break up to Cameron Diaz this past year as well as his new woman in his life; Jessica Biel. Timberlake also racked up an impressive resume in 2007 too. Justin took home four moon men from MTV’s Video Music Awards, completed a duet with Reba McEntire,was named one of Hollywood’s Best Bachelors by People magazine, and recorded a single with Duran Duran.

Roger Federer

Roger Federer; tennis star, managed to achieve an overall record of 54-6 and win the Australian Open, the U.S. Open and Wimbledon. Federer was the French Open runner- up and set an ATP record by spending 194 consecutive weeks (and counting) as the No. 1 player in the world. The manliest moment of 2007 according to askmen.com :After losing to Nadal in the Battle of Surfaces, Federer retaliated as only he can: He ended Nadal’s winning streak on clay three weeks later, and again at Wimbledon.

Timbaland

Timbaland has had many successful projects this past year in the music industry. He has had many nominations in 2007 which includes two Grammy’s; Justin Timberlake’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, and Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for Nelly Furtado’s “Promiscuous.” Timbaland also released Timbaland Presents Shock Value. A little something about Timbaland: Timbaland started in the music industry as “DJ Timmy Tim”, a disc jockey before starting to back tracks and building beats on an old Casio keyboard.

Matt Damon

Damon has had two box office hits this past year, Ocean’ s Thirteen and The Bourne Ultimatum. Matt received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, appeared on Inside the Actor’s Studio, and was named one of the sexiest guys of summer according to In Touch Weekly. Great quote by Matt Damon: I was never that much a focus of interest that I became a ‘thing’ at an earlier point in my career. I’m aware of having become a ‘thing’ now, which doesn’t give me a lot of pleasure.

David Beckham

Beckham manliest man moment of 2007 according to askmen.com: Beckham bounced back from being benched at the beginning of the season to lead Real Madrid to their first Primera Division championship in three years. Beckham moved to Los Angeles in 07′ to play for The Galaxy; major league soccer team in LA. On top of playing for a new team, he was named number 15 on Forbes’ 2007 list of most influential celebrities, and continued to serve as Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.
